The month is almost up and no post yet!!
The beginning of the month started with a trip down south for Jim Bryant's funeral. This photo is from last year at Strathroy Preps. It was Jim and Effie's 50th anniversary.
I got to spend a few nights at home. Brynn and I stopped in at Ben and Tawnya's for a visit. I hadn't seen Caleb since he was born!! He is a big fellow!! Ben came home just as we were heading out for a walk. Twas great to see him too.
I got to sit in on Gerald and Pauls Gospel Meeting. What a treat. Then afterwards we stopped at Starbucks for the last "big-city-feel" coffee of the season. I've been craving another ever since!
I just had to post these pictures of my photogenic parents.
And not so photogenic self. We have adopted Brynn. She is my new sister. She doesn't know this but I'm not going to let her get on the plane to go back to BC this summer.
Then I got a ride with Max and Sara to the funeral. You'd never know that we had just spent 2 hours in the car. Chatting up a storm, of course!!The month has been a full one. Lots of studies, meetings, visits... you name it, we've done it! Two weeks after the first funeral we did another rush trip down to Bruce County for Jim Jackson's funeral. When you drive 2 hours to get anywhere on a regular basis an 8 hour drive for an overnight trip doesn't seem so scary. But we did take time to get rested up afterwards.
Apparently the saying goes "In like a lamb, out like a lion". We cancelled Sunday's Gospel Meeting because of a snowstorm. But today the sun is shining bright and it's almost 0C!! Maybe it's refering to the -20C mornings. What a change from when we first arrived in January.
