I am nostalgically posting the last photo's of my time up here in Northern Ontario. What a great year!

We have had a few nights of dominoes here and there this winter. Ted and Helen hosted this one. Ted's brother and Helen's sister, who are married, came over as well. And get this -Ted and Bob's other brother married Helen and Joan's other sister! Ken and Alberta! They live elsewhere though.

We got all our young kids together one Saturday to study about the sower and the seed. Jenna and Lauren hosted and Mason and Milton came, also our newcomers Ahslyn, Katrina and Bradley. It was a beautiful spring day.

The last week of march we got a dump of snow... On Sunday... Our second last meeting was canceled that days because the roads weren't safe. Now it is April 9th and there is snow falling again. It has been falling for almost a week now and on Saturday we got 2ft of snow in 24 hours... We're back up to at least 4 ft of snow again. I'm heading south though today so hopefully away from the snow. Gotta love it when it comes but it's nice when it goes too!

The chance of a lifetime!! We went ice-fishing one evening while staying with Wayne, Jenna and Lauren. There is a lake just down the highway where Wayne had been out all day. He picked up the girls after school and took them out. Then after we got back from our studies in Timmins and had supper they took me out for a quick go.

That is when we caught this nice 39 inch Pike!! The 6 inch hole was almost too small for the fish to come up! Earlier they had caught a Pike the same size so later that week we had a nice feed of fish!!

On Sunday we saw most of the friends for the last time. Six from our field were missing here. It's hard to leave the folks after so long with them.
